    Stamford Bridge: The Old Station

    Preserved in time, a wonderful old station, platforms and crossing gate, stumbled upon by happy accident! Having discovered the riverside walk in Stamford Bridge was submerged in water due to recent floods, I set out on a short walk around the village. I discovered the Old Station which once served the village, a very welcome surprise. Beautiful, interesting and well preserved by caring local volunteers.
